I was fishing this weekend with three 20 something year old young men who are all employed. All three live with their parents and can’t afford to move out.

I like you blog but I want to point out you went too far overboard on this statement about (mostly) summer jobs:

"Not only are Canada’s youth priced out of home ownership, but their rents were inflated through record immigration, and now they can’t get a job either."

The data was for returning students 15 to 24 years old.

When, in modern times, was it normal for people between 15 to 24 to be able to afford to purchase a home in Canadian cities or suburbs?

Perhaps they could build a log cabin somewhere, or an ice fort in winter....?
