With population - demand softening, with two cities mega oversupplied, with government bailouts and infrastructure projects announced but not actuated and with labour unrest active, the reality on the ground seems to point to a year of stagflation where, other than seniors, the middle class continues its struggle to get ahead.

Does anyone seriously believe anything the BofC announces? Their track record of predictions is far from stellar.

Jawboning does not improve an economy, only action does. Neither resources or real estate has any action towards bottoming. We need to see some BK first.

Home prices are still absurdly high in these markets. I’d rather just take advantage of the declining rental market and put my money elsewhere.
