Good summary Steve. But the underlying issue still remains that BCs population is not growing at the same time as thousands of units are coming on market. It like playing musical chairs when you have more chairs than people. Throw in job losses and the market is going to be in for a real adjustment.

Home prices have become entirely disconnected from incomes. People have been over-leveraging for years with the false belief that the only possible direction for home values to go is up. People are learning for the first time in decades that isn’t true. Now no one wants to catch a falling knife. A much needed correction.
