Thanks, again Steve. If only people would understand the macroeconomic cause of this crisis: central banks holding interest rates lower than the natural rate. A typical boom and bust cycle. The late entrants are always hit the hardest, and Carney gets promoted to PM.

The Liberal government are masters at cherry picking any data point to sell themselves and the great job they are doing.

According to them - we have the lowest debt, best economy in the G20, building at a record pace, the best trade deal in the world, lowest inflation, blah blah blah.

They remind me of UFOs 🛸- we hear a lot about them, but we never quite see the spaceship land. 🙄

As Ontario starts to bleed jobs the housing situation could get very grim. People without a paycheck cnt pay rent or a mortgage. Here in BC the population is not growing and yet we keep building.

I would put too much stock in Stats Canada reporting when it comes to inflation. They are one of the hand maidens of the Liberals and will massage date to fit the Liberal curve...
